We met at Mountain Valley Golf Course. Every Friday night they would host deck parties! My friends were all busy besides 2 and there was nothing else to do so last minute we decided to go to the party. Funny thing is Aaron almost didn't go that night either! Anyways the drinks were flowing, the night got darker and the music got louder! My friends and I noticed this circle of friends dancing. Someone would do a small dance in the middle of the circle then when they were done they would point at someone else and then they would have to dance in the middle. It looked like they were having a blast so it was hard not to watch them. Well Aaron's cousin Luke saw I was looking over and mentioned it to Aaron and Lauren (his other cousin) who ended up coming over to me and talked me into going in the circle! So I danced in the middle, we laughed and had such a good moment that we ended up talking to them all for the rest of that night. Then at some point Aaron pulled me for a conversation and it went really well. What really sold it was that I saw Aaron dropping it low so I dropped it low next to him and the rest is history!

We closed on a house in December of 2022, I was pregnant at the time, and we were so busy at the beginning of the year fixing the house up so we could move in! With all that we ended up having a house warming party in August of 2023. We had a ton of friends and family around. It was the perfect day for an outdoor party, the weather couldn't have been more perfect! There were games being played and beers being drank and I was sitting next to my two friends in the grass talking when he turned the music down and I just heard him go “I’m gonna throw up” before he called my name to come over. That's when he got down on one knee and asked the question in front of everyone and of course I said YES!
