Sydney and Brandon actually met on Bumble! Sydney swiped right on Brandon's profile when she saw he was looking for friends, loved horror movies, and loved animals. His headline read something along the lines of "I'll be your bestest friend ever. Like the best friend you didn't know you could have." It made Sydney laugh and she responded, "Hi besty I've never had." They messaged for a week getting to know each other before planning their first "meetup" or what would become their first date - Applebeez. Yes, that's right. They had their first date at an Applebeez and followed it up with a movie afterwards - Child's Play. Following that night, Brandon and Sydney grew closer and closer over a year, supporting each other through down periods until one evening in September of 2024. Brandon casually said, "well yeah, I'm your boyfriend." A beautiful relationship blossomed from that moment. March 30th of 2026 rolled around, and Brandon surprised Sydney in the best of ways with a proposal. They went for a walk as they do frequently at Heritage Park in Canton, and Sydney had no idea what was coming. She started to get curious as he led her into a secluded area and froze. She turned around and he said, "I'm really nervous..." She asked, "why?" That's the moment he bent down on one knee and pulled a blue box out of his pocket. He asked Sydney to marry him as he opened the box to present a beautiful infinity ring. She said yes!
