Absolutely! You'll find our recommended hotel—the venue for our reception—in the travel tab on our website. Spearfish also has several other wonderful options to suit any preference or budget. Please choose whatever works best for you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are absolutely welcome at our wedding! We understand that babies can be unpredictable, so we’d like to mention the church has a comfortable cry room equipped with a window and speaker system. This way, you can enjoy the ceremony while having a quiet space available if needed.

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

We'll have a cash bar available at the reception venue where guests can purchase their preferred beverages. Please note that alcohol isn't permitted at the church ceremony, so we kindly ask that you enjoy any pre-celebration drinks beforehand OFF the property or wait until we gather for the evening reception.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is semi-formal. Think nice dresses, elevated outfits, and dress pants with collared shirts. We also kindly ask that guests avoid wearing jeans.

To ensure we can accommodate all our beloved guests, only those explicitly named on your invitation are included. Thank you for understanding!

Yes, convenient parking will be available at both the ceremony and reception venues.

Yes, we are happy to try our best to accommodate most food allergies and dietary restrictions! Please ensure you let us know in advance by reaching out to Lauren or Brennan directly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4:30 pm, with doors opening 30 minutes prior. We’d love to see you there early—but if you’re late, we can’t promise it won’t become a lifelong joke at your expense.
