"Location, location, location," is a popular phrase when considering real estate. It would also be the key to changing our lives forever. When Joe and Angie Sparrow decided to purchase their new home near Wheatley, they inadvertently brought Ben and I together. You see, I (Callie) had heard that a Sparrow was moving in right down the road. Since we all know our phones listen to everything we talk about ;) -- Ben popped up on my "people you may know" on Facebook. We became friends, talking on and off for a while. I would tell him when one of his cows were out, snap him pictures of my cows and their ailments asking for a solution, we'd talk about planning a trip out on the lake... the country version of flirting. After some time, we decide to meet at his family dairy to get to know each other better. If you're familiar with the rest of our story, you know things went well. We found out we were having a little one December 2017. God knew we were made for one another. He decided Hallie would be the perfect addition to the wonderful little family we are today. All that is missing is to officially say, "I do," to forever and to celebrate with all of our family and friends.

The best Christmas present was having Ben down on one knee when I turned around to give him one of his gifts, holding his sweating hands, and saying yes to spending the rest of my life with him. He asked, I cried yes, and Hallie said, "goo, goo, gaa, gah" which we think meant, "yay, Momma and Dada are getting married!" ❣
