. . . . .
Matt and Hannah both transferred to Texas A&M University after our freshman year in college. Texas A&M has a camp that transfer students can go to over the summer to be informed of Texas A&M's traditions. During the camp, you get introduced to current students and other transfer students. Matt and Hannah both signed up to go to this "Aggie Transfer Camp" during the weekend of August 11th, 2017. All the students met on campus at The Association of Former Students building to sign in and get introduced to their groups. During the check-in process, Matt and Hannah were both looking for a trash can to throw away the breakfast drinks they had picked up beforehand. They ran into each other and started a conversation that continued throughout the weekend at camp. During this time they found out that they lived 10 minutes away from each other, attend the same church, went to the same youth group, were in the same confirmation class, and even had some of the same mutual friends. After they got back from camp they went on their first date. 08.11.2017
Matt proposed to Hannah at the Dallas Arboretum in February. Immediately after they took their engagement photos with a photographer. Afterward, they spent the time to enjoy the weather and take a tour of the original home at the site. Then they went to downtown Dallas to the Reunion Tower for dinner. The restaurant was at the top of the ball and rotated 360 degrees every hour to give them a full view of Dallas at sunset. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day. 02.22.2020
