Fredericksburg is located in the Texas Hill Country, 80 miles west of Austin and 70 miles north of San Antonio. Austin Bergstrom International Airport - approximately 1.5 hour drive to Fredericksburg. San Antonio International Airport - approximately 1 hour drive to Fredericksburg.
Travel Note
Downtown Fredericksburg is a walkable town. Limited number of Taxis and Ubers are also available. Multiple wineries have tasting rooms on Main Street that are within walking distance from the hotel block. There are a number of local shops and restaurants all within walking distance as well. If you plan to head to the 290 Wine Trail you will need transportation as the nearest winery from Main Street is approximately a 15 minute drive from town. A recommended option is the 290 Wine Shuttle. Tickets can be purchased at 290 Wine Shuttle.
Shuttle
January 29, 2022 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Transportation will be provided by 290 Wine Shuttles from downtown Fredericksburg to Contigo Ranch. Three shuttles will leave from the Inn on Barons Creek at 3:30pm for the 4:30pm ceremony. Parking is available at the Inn on Barons Creek should you wish to park and take the shuttle Shuttles will be available to leave the venue starting at 9:30pm until end the end of the reception at 10:30pm.
Rental Car
If you wish to take an Uber or Taxi to the wedding, it’s recommended to schedule your ride home ahead of time as the cell service at the ranch can be spotty.
