We’re getting married!

Kate here: We met at Harford County Sheriff’s Office Youth Academy, during their 5-day overnight mock police camp at Harford Glen Park, which is a nature/environmental conservatory in Bel Air/Abingdon area. The police with us were School Resource Officers. Also, I had just graduated high school from Fallston, so my SRO was Deputy Kovacs and he was about to go into his senior year at C. Milton Wright, his SRO was Deputy Mitchell. I had signed up in law class I took senior year. I had always loved pyschological profiling and behaviorial analysis, he wanted/wants to be a cop. During the first morning orientation our moms were sitting together under the pavillion talking but I also didn’t know who he was at the time. Plus a big post just so happened to be blocking him from my view. It’s kind of funny because our mom’s both have the the hair salon in common - my mom being a hair stylist there and the O’Briens going to Ms. Jeanne - my mom’s coworker, whose stand was beside my mom’s. I didn’t find that out until later. After orientation, our parents left us and we all separated, I was walking up to I think the cafeteria woth the group and it kinda gets blurry but I remember Josh coming up along the right side of me and just start talking at me. LOL, I’m used to it now... Love you babe! Anyway, he said, “Hey, I think I’ve seen you before?” I was like, “Whoa. Wait, where?!” Cause I hadn’t seen him before. He said, “On your mom’s hair dressing stand. Ms. Jeanne cuts my hair and she had shown me your senior picture on your mom’s counter.” What a small world! Now there were two different camp availibilities... One for June and the other was August. We could’ve gone to separate ones but for some reason, we went to the same one. He started this! xoxo
