Flight
Reno Airport
This is the best place to fly into. It's about 60 minutes away from Tahoe City. If that doesn't work - try Sacramento Airport! It's about 2 hours away. SFO and Oakland airports are about 3.5-4 hours away (but traffic can get bad after 2pm on Thursday or Friday if you plan to drive to Tahoe from SFO or Oakland).
