What is a "Welcome Boat Cruise"?

Kick off the wedding weekend with us on the water! We’re hosting a sunset boat cruise to welcome everyone and start the celebrations before the big day. Light appetizers will be provided, and bar will be available on board so you can sip your favorite drink while cruising around Gloucester Harbor. Attire is dressy summer casual — think sundresses or matching sets for the ladies, and slacks and polo shirts for the guys . September evenings can be cool (especially on the water!), so we recommend bringing a light jacket or wrap to stay cozy. We'd love for everyone to attend but completely understand if two nights away from home is not do-able!

What should I wear to the wedding?

Please join us in semi-formal attire, and don’t be shy with color—think bright, bold, and playful hues. Suits, dresses, and polished separates are perfect.

Where should I park?

Answer

Thursday Night: There is a parking lot dedicated to Cape Ann Whale Watch. Friday Ceremony: There is a parking lot dedicated for the Shalin Liu. Friday Reception: There is a free parking lot right next to Oak to Ember called Saint Peter's Square Parking. If that lot is full, Oak to Ember has an additional private lot behind Saint Peter's lot that is gravel. There is a sign by the entrance that signals it is the dedicated Oak to Ember parking lot. Don't be afraid to leave your car in either of these lots overnight, we want to make sure everyone gets home safely after celebrating with us!

We love your children, but this will be an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding and hope that you can still join us.
