Come Celebrate with us!

Just when everything was shutting down, John and Jessica refused to give up on love. They met on the dating app called Bumble in May of 2020. After seeing John was a Marine who was also a total geek with his Comic Con photos, Jessica decided to send a message and the rest is history. They had a facetime date the next day and met for coffee at Dunkin Donuts 2 days later. Their first few "dates" consisted of at-home movie's at John's house and the first movie they watched was "A Fish Called Wanda". There were no restaurants, movie theaters or malls open for them to meet at. It was a weird time. John made that easy though. He was kind and thoughtful and Jessica could already tell she was in good hands. In June of 2020, Jessica and John were finally able to go out on a real date when the world slowly started opening up again. Their first date was at a craft beer restaurant called Seven Lakes in Sloatsburg. After being together for 2 years in August of 2022, John, Jessica and Korra moved into their first house together in Montgomery, NY. A week after moving into their new house, they added a second cute puppy named Laney to the mix. This is the beginning of their little family. On February 26th, 2023, John proposed in their living room of their house that they bought and made a home together with their two dogs right there. There wasn't a more perfect place to be. He hung up a “Will You Marry Me?” banner, got down on one knee, Jes said YES and the rest is history. Our love is what brings us to the celebration on October 12, 2024 and we look forward to sharing our celebration with you all.
