FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:30 PM. We kindly ask that all guests arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is black-tie optional. We ask that men wear either a tuxedo or a suit and tie. For women, we suggest either a mid-to-floor length dress or pantsuit.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only to accommodate the guests that are included on your invitation. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invite by name.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Due to limited numbers, we hope you understand that our wedding will be adults-only unless explicitly listed on your invitation.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will both be held indoors.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Ceremony: Free covered parking is provided for wedding guests in the 311 West Illinois building, just East of the church. The parking entrance is on Franklin Street. Reception: Guests can park at Grant Park South Garage, 325 S Michigan Ave Chicago, IL 60604, for a discounted rate of $13 for the evening. In order to receive this discounted rate, please bring the ticket with you to the reception to be validated by venue staff.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have arranged room blocks at two local hotels: The Blackstone and Aloft Chicago Downtown River North. The wedding party will be staying at the The Blackstone, where there are a limited number of additional rooms available. Please make all reservations before May 15, 2026 to receive the group rate.
