Flight
Key Largo is the first island and gateway into the Florida Keys, known for its laid-back vibe, crystal-clear water, and tropical beauty. Most guests will fly into Miami International Airport (MIA) which is about an hour and fifteen minutes from Key Largo. Fort Lauderdale Airport (FLL) is about an hour and a half away. If you would like to take a more scenic route, Key West Airport (EYW) is just over 2 hours along Overseas Highway, but you get the chance to see all of the keys with the water surrounding you on both sides of the drive! It’s highly recommended that you rent a car, as Key Largo is a long island, without a town center and the Florida Keys are best explored by car. If you need transportation from the airport, we recommend Keys Shuttle. There will be some parking at the venue for the Welcome Party & Wedding, but we recommend ordering Lyfts and Ubers for those who will be drinking.
Hotel
There are several nice hotels near our wedding venue, many within walking distance. Within walking distance and on the water: Alamar on the Bay, Sunset Cove Resort, The Pelican, Key Lime Sailing Club, and Bayside Inn. Next door is Bungalows Key Largo, which is a luxury, all-inclusive resort. Key Largo Inn (not waterfront but very economical and convenient location). Within 1 mile of our venue location: Holiday Inn, Courtyard Marriott, Marina Del Mar. Within 2-4 miles of our venue location: Baker's Cay, Hampton Inn, Reefhouse Resort, and Playa Largo.
