Whoa! This all happened so fast, why??

We've been engaged for almost 2 years, and we were trying to get into the MN Fringe Festival last year, but our number didn't get drawn. We then contacted the venue we wanted late spring, but they weren't booking 2019 yet. So after many many emails back and forth, we got our contract the week of Thanksgiving 2018. Prompt wedding planning overdrive. We appreciate you being patient with us as we run around like crazy till we see you on 2/24! <3

Are children invited?

Answer

Unless specified we can't allow kids unfortunately. We cannot guarantee the content of our wedding/show will be PG-13.

Where can I park?

Answer

Meters are free in the area after 6pm. Courtyard Marriott has a parking ramp next door for $17, or $22 if coming/going. Smaller parking lots across the street behind The Corner Bar and Bullwinkles $4-10.

Gift Wrapping Paper

Answer

If you decide to bring a gift (which is super nice of you!) don't worry about fancy wrapping paper. Most gifts given in our house are wrapped in newspaper and you can feel free to do the same if you'd like!

Do I get a plus one?

Answer

In the interest of our venue's capacity restrictions, your invitation will specify if we were able to allot you a plus one. We'd love for everyone we know to come but since that isn't quite possible the ceremony and show will be reserved for those specifically invited, however the reception after the show will be open to all!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a block of rooms set aside at the Courtyard Marriott, right behind the venue. The rate is locked in at $114 a night. Please book before January 27th to get this rate!

How do I get there?

Answer

Coming on 35W Going North: Exit U of M- West Bank. At the stoplight, turn right. The Southern is on the first block on your left. Going South: Exit Washington Ave. At the stoplight, turn left. Cross freeway overpass. The Southern is on the first block on your left Coming on 94 Going East: Take 35W North. Exit U of M- West Bank from 35N. At stop light, turn right. The Southern is on the first block on your left. Going West: Exit Cedar Ave. At stoplight, turn right. Follow Cedar through the shopping district to where the street curves to the left. Pass through stoplight at Washington Ave. and Cedar Ave. The Southern is on the right. Coming by Bus Take the 252, 118, 22, 7 or 3 towards downtown Minneapolis and get off at Cedar Ave and Washington. Coming by Green Line Get off at the West Bank Station and take the stairs up to Cedar Ave, walk north on Cedar Ave around the curve and The Southern Theater will be on your right.
