When the Army sent me to Fort Lewis as my next place of duty, I started attending a new church in Tacoma, WA. It was there that a friend introduced me to Soyeon, who at the time I never expected would become the love of my life. Soyeon and I met during the start of the pandemic, but we worked hard to make things work and see each other whenever safe and possible. During tough moments, we supported each other emotionally and spiritually, and in time I realized that she was also strengthening me and my faith in the Lord. Having her in my life helped me to bring my path closer to God, and it became clear to me that He was the one who brought us together. As the two of us become one, we look to become a family of faith who love each other through whatever the world has for us.
