A family shower, what does that mean?

Answer

We want to include our favorite people in the celebration for Baby Sowder. Rather than a female only shower, we hope your whole family can join us for the festivities. Yes, that includes your little's as well!

Will there be kid friendly activities?

Answer

We have encouraged Amelia to come up with a few activities we can have on site for any little one's joining us for the shower! In addition, there will be yard games and activities for all ages to enjoy.

Will there be food available?

Answer

Yes! We love to eat, so what's a celebration without food?! We will have plenty of options available for a late lunch, an app plate, or to graze throughout the duration of the event. Help yourself as you please!

Its at a brewery... are drinks available?

Answer

True to our "Local" theme for the shower, we wanted to support a local business in the process. All adult beverages may be purchased from Granville Brewing Company directly and enjoyed in the varying property spaces. GBC is a local favorite for their craft beers and genuine customer service! GBC was one of the first places we explored when moving to the area and we have made some great friends hanging out here year round!

Is there indoor seating?

Answer

The Brewery offers inside/outside seating. If you want some coverage from the sun, head inside for some shade and AC. If you enjoy the weather, hang out on the patio and surrounding property. We will have additional tables and chairs available, but also feel free to bring an outside chair of your own if that's more comfortable!

Will you be opening gifts during the shower?

Answer

We appreciate any contribution to getting started with Baby Girl and the generosity that goes into each gift! However, we have a limited amount of time to enjoy the friends and family that plan to travel to attend the shower. Our hope is to focus the afternoon around quality time with each of our guests so we can thoughtfully, and without time constraint, open our gifts at home after. If you would like to see us open your gift personally, please just ask and we would be happy to do that with you!
