We're Getting Married!

Steve and Kayla met in 2016 and went on their first date to Hunter's Ale House in Mt. Pleasant. After their first date, Kayla went home to her college apartment and told her roommates that she just met her future husband. After college, Kayla moved back home and that began the journey of many years of long-distance dating. They then knew in order to make their love work, somebody would have to make the big move (cough, cough, Kayla). Kayla and Steve went house hunting and found their dream home in Mt. Pleasant. They moved in together in October of 2019. Steve proposed on their beautiful front porch of their new home (that Kayla loves and decorates for each season) on January 1st, 2020. The wedding planning was just getting started as they were settling into their new home together. Covid-19 put their wedding planning to a halt for a while but in the meantime, Kayla and Steve added a new member to their family. They brought the cutest Goldendoodle puppy, Maci, home in April. Kayla, Steve and Maci are enjoying spending time together and anxiously counting down the days until they say 'I do'.
