We’re getting married!

Once upon a time… There was a Marine named Jacob and an aspiring worship leader named Adriana. The two met for the first time in August in the year of 2021. Although it had not been long since they’d known each other, it felt like their souls have known each other forever! The story is true, the couple connected on the dating app Hinge. The two did not expect to meet their spouse on an online dating service nor expect to be in a relationship with someone 2,500 miles away from the other, but God had other plans. Long story short, Jacob put his location in Carlsbad so he would match with a California girl to rock out with at a Green Day concert and that girl was Adriana. After the first date at the movies, they knew they had an unexplainable connection. The following day, after the concert, Jacob asked Adriana to be his girlfriend and to try this long distance thing. They started off by writing letters, making phone calls, and then flying back and fourth to visit each other, becoming experts on Southwest and the Long Beach Airport. In January, after a year and a half of long distance, the two will be married and Adriana will move to Oahu to join Jacob. And they will live happily ever after… in person. ;)
