Soups first spotted Geoff at the gym in 2018; hard to miss at 6’5”. Yet, their first up close encounter didn’t take place until Fall 2021. While Soups was gracefully working out in a walking boot with her broken foot, Geoff finally approached her! Unfortunately, it was to talk to her trainer standing behind her. Geoff was sharing how not-so-gracefully he broke his nose the day before. They had something in common! They eventually became Instagram friends. Fast forward, Soups invited Geoff to a hockey game. He was so excited about their upcoming date, he was swinging off cabanas like Tarzan at work. Sadly, Geoff is not Tarzan and fractured both his wrist. Unable to work that next night, Geoff invited Soups to join him for pizza. Breaking her trainer’s meal plan, Soups accepted the cheat meal and they finally had their first date. Between pizza, a broken nose, broken foot and fractured wrists, they never laughed so hard in one night. Geoff and Soups quickly learned they were two peas in a pod and inseparable since.
