California no longer requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test to attend. At this time masks are still required and must be worn on anyone 2 years old and up.

Question

COVID UPDATE 4.3.21

Answer

California is requiring that all wedding attendees can either provide proof of vaccination OR provide a negative COVID test result within (TBD) hours of the event. We will have more details soon regarding what type of COVID test is acceptable, as well as provide testing center locations and information as we receive more information. Masks are mandatory for anyone over the age of 2.

Question

IMPORTANT game information!

Answer

Bring dollar bills ya'll!!! We will be playing A LOT of LRC!!! (Left Right Center- for those of you that don't know!)

Question

Food restrictions?

Answer

You all know we love to eat! You also most likely know that Amanda has a gluten allergy. That being said, we want to make it clear that if you have ANY food restrictions or food concerns we want to know so we can accommodate you!

Question

How far is San Jose from San Francisco?

Answer

Depending on traffic it's safe to say it will take you 1 hour - 1.5 hours. If you will be visiting SF please be sure to plan plenty of travel time and we recommend not making reservations too close to rush hours.

Question

How far is San Jose International Airport to the venue?

Answer

SJC is about 30-40min from the venue.

Question

Should we try to stay close to the venue?

Answer

NO! The venue is on the Santa Cruz Highway and there is a lot of traffic, there is also not much to do near the venue. We will be spending most of our time in San Jose and recommend staying in San Jose. To see other areas we suggest staying in check out our Travel Tab.

Question

Where are the best areas to book an Air BnB?

Answer

Check out our travel tab and if you're still not sure or would like us to check out a house for you prior to booking it please text or call us! We are happy to help! Bay Area Tip: We consider things that are 15-20 mins. close out here due to traffic!

Question

Weather?

Answer

Make sure you check out San Jose's weather and not San Francisco, they will be very different!

Question

Will you need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes, in San Jose you will need a car to get around and you will definitely need one to get to the wedding. We do have Uber, if you are more comfortable using Uber you will be able to find them all over San Jose!

Question

What does the Bride & Groom's wedding week look like so far?

Answer

My Uncle Richy volunteered to work for us so we are off the hook! ;) JK, JK! We are expecting family & friends to be trickling in 6/12-6/13. Our plan so far is to share as much of our time with you as possible. Check out our Schedule tab to see exactly what we have planned so far but we plan to be bouncing around to family and friends Air BnB's all week. We will be working a little here and there but we would love to make plans with you if you have something in mind. We are not taking off to our honeymoon right after the wedding, we will be around for another week, so if you are staying in town, let us know! Although, we will be going back to work, we would still love to see you!

Question

What about COVID?

Answer

As of 2/17/21 the County is allowing for outdoor ceremonies of up to 200 people! We plan to proceed with the wedding while following COVID protocol. In these crazy times, now more than ever we can't express how much it will mean to us to be able to share our special day with you but we understand if you are not comfortable attending. Please continue to check back here for updates. - Mask are required at all events and all over California still so please be sure to pack plenty! - There is a free testing site just a few minutes down the street from our house https://www.sccgov.org/sites/covid19/Pages/covid19-testing.aspx - Please feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions or concerns

For all the days along the way
