10:30 am
Before the ceremony, guests are invited to greet the bride and groom separately. This Jewish wedding tradition gives family and friends an opportunity to spend time with each of us before we are married.
11:00 am
Bedeken – The groom greets the bride and places a veil over her face Ketubah Signing – The ketubah, a traditional Jewish marriage contract, is signed by the couple and witnesses Chuppah Ceremony – We will then gather beneath the chuppah (wedding canopy) for the wedding ceremony. The chuppah represents the home we will build together and marks the beginning of our marriage.
12:00 pm
Join us for drinks and passed hors d'oeuvres as we celebrate after the ceremony. The menu will be fleishig (kosher meat) with vegetarian options.
1:00 pm - 4:30 pm
After cocktail hour, we'll gather for an afternoon of great food, celebration, and time together. There will be kosher (fleishig with vegetarian) and very-much-not-kosher food options. Most importantly, we're excited to spend the afternoon celebrating with the people we love.
