The Gingered Peach 🥐
This bakery is located in Lawrenceville, less than 10 minutes from the hotel. Gingered Peach was our favorite treat shop when we lived in Lawrenceville, and we still make a trip over every now and then. They serve locally brewed coffee and make amazing cinnamon buns and bialys. They are open on Saturdays from 7am-3pm and they usually run out of items by noon.
Udo's Bagels 🥯
About 10 minutes from the hotel, Udo's is the closest thing New York guests are going to get to NY-quality bagels. Udo's was our go-to breakfast spot and we will for sure be stopping by once or twice during the wedding weekend. Tons of bagel varieties, cream cheeses, and great breakfast sandwiches. They close at 2pm each day.
Princeton 🌸
If you have the time, Princeton is a nice place to spend the day, especially if the weather cooperates. About 20 minutes from the hotel, the town is very walkable with tons of shoppes and restaurants on Nassau Street right across from the University. Some recommended food spots would be: Witherspoon's Grill, Olives, Blue Point Grill, Winberie's Restaurant & Bar, and Halo Pub for dessert.
Terhune Orchards 🍎
A quaint local winery that also has an amazing farm store! Nick loves the apple cider donuts from here.
Firkin Tavern 🍺
Great local spot, about 5 minutes from the hotel. Reasonably priced drinks and great for a late-night bite for those in town on Friday night. Burgers are always a good choice.
