…a young super cute freshman girl met a very cute senior boy. The year was 1989 and both were on the yearbook staff at Arlington High School – it was very uncool for seniors and freshman to date – and therefore, only friendship and flirting ensued. After Miguel’s graduation, he got enough courage to ask the beautiful girl, Elizabeth, on a date and they went miniature golfing. This was Miguel’s first official date with a girl and the first of many dates for the young teenagers. Later that year, Liz moved out of state. A friendship continued for several years by writing letters back and forth. During those years, whenever Liz visited California, they would always make time to see each other.

Only The True Living God could reconnect us and rekindle a spark of Love that would propel us into finding the love of our lives – each other. ------------ Light speed ahead and in May of 2017, Miguel posted a scripture on FaceBook that garnered many responses. God does work in mysterious ways. For an entire week, the Lord kept quickening Miguel's post to Liz’s heart and mind; so she reached out to reconnect. Their first date, round two, was June 4, 2017. After living two separate lives and lifetimes apart, it was still magical. That bible verse was Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know the plans I have for you" says The Lord. "They are plans for good and not disaster, to give you a future and a hope". (Shout out to my good friend, Catherine, who is the one who encouraged me to send Miguel a message after reading his FaceBook post. --Liz)
