Lakefront Trail
Chicago's Lakefront Trail is unmatched with great views of Lake Michigan as well as the city itself! Walk, jog, or bike the path!
Take an architecture boat tour along the Chicago River
Enjoy a lovely pleasure cruise along the Chicago River! This is one of our favorite tours, and you get to see some of Chicago's most famous buildings from a pretty neat perspective.
Lincoln Park Conservatory
This conservatory with surrounding gardens and lily pond is a beautiful verdant escape from the busy downtown. Free timed entry tickets are needed.
West Loop
This is a great area with lots of excellent restaurants and shopping! Rose Mary, Lyra, Alla Vita, Green Street Smoked Meats, Duck Duck Goat, and Oakville Tavern and Grill are some of our favorites! These are really popular restaurants so you will want to plan well in advance and secure a reservation.
The Green Mill
This is one of the most famous jazz clubs in Chicago!
