Question
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm. Please arrive by 4:00pm to allow yourself time to park, enter the venue, and find your seat.

What happens if I do not RSVP in time?
Answer
If we do not receive your RSVP by July 13th, it will be marked as "No". We will miss celebrating with you, however we must provide an accurate guest count to the venue and our lovely vendors in a timely manner. We thank you for understanding.

What is the address of the venue?
Answer
The address of the Dempsey Event Center is 123 Hyatts Road Delaware OH, 43015. If you plan on valet parking or ride-sharing (Lyft, Uber) use this address. If you plan on self-parking use the address 5808 Columbus Pike Delaware, OH 43015. See more information on parking below.

What is the available parking at the venue?
Answer
The self-parking lot is located behind the venue. To get to this lot turn at Martiny’s Barbeque, after you've turned in the entrance to the Dempsey parking lot will be on the right. After you park there is a gorgeous walking bridge through the woods to lead you to the venue. There will also be valet parking at the front of the mansion for those who do not wish to walk far.

What is the dress code?
Answer
Our dress code is semi-formal/garden attire. For ladies this includes sundresses, floor length dresses or tea length dresses in breathable fabrics. For men this includes lightweight suits, or dress pants with a blazer. Please no jeans, T-shirts, or polos. The ceremony will be outdoors in grass, ladies please take this into account when choosing your heels!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be outdoors. Cocktail hour will be outdoors with some indoor mingling rooms. The reception will be outdoors under a large tent.

What if I celebrate more than anticipated and have to leave my car overnight?
Answer
For those who self-park and celebrate tremendously with us you are able to leave your vehicle in the self parking lot overnight. You must return to the venue to pick up your vehicle before 10:30am the next morning.

Can I bring a plus one if it is not specified on my invitation?
Answer
We are only able to accommodate for plus ones who are listed on your formal invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?
Answer
We kindly request that you enjoy our ceremony with us in the present moment. Please leave all cell phones and cameras in your purse or pocket during the ceremony. We have hired a wonderful photographer to capture every detail of the wedding and will be sharing her work with you afterwards!

Can my children attend?
Answer
While we love your little ones we have decided to keep our wedding adults only. We hope you understand & enjoy the night off as we cannot wait to celebrate with you! If you are traveling from out of town and are bringing your children to Columbus and need assistance finding childcare please contact Christine Soska at (614) 204-5294.

Answer
Rooms can be reserved at The Ohioan Hotel & Event Center by calling the hotel directly or through the website provided below using our group access code.
