Our Story

Tim and Meredith met as classmates at Wade Hampton High School. They shared friends while attending school. Knowing each other briefly, their relationship was at the beginning of a love story. However, neither was aware of their mutual attraction. One semester Tim and Meredith had Senior English together. Tim purposely sat in the seat in front of Meredith in hopes of having the opportunity to speak with her daily. Meredith being shy was unsure of how to start the conversation and break the ice. Tim being outgoing turned around one day and started chatting about something as simple as homework or other classes. Their mutual friendship grew from the classroom to talking and hanging out outside of school. Their story would seem to come to a bitter dreadful end with Tim and Meredith simply going opposite ways. Tim and Meredith used the time apart to attend college, make and lose friends, encounter relationships that taught them valuable lessons, and live life from a single perspective. Tim had attempted to reach out to Meredith on and off for years. However, she was not ready to give him a chance due to the lack of seriousness brought to the table by Tim when it came to a serious relationship. Tim felt uneasy committing to the unknown of how serious or how long his relationship could last with Meredith. Therefore, Meredith had no care to entertain his mess. One day, Tim had messaged Meredith wishing her Merry Christmas on Christmas Day 2020. She replied to him out of curiosity from not speaking to him for years. Tim was surprised Meredith even responded to him. Their conversation lasted for hours and Tim had to come clean. Something had been eating at him for years but he didn't understand necessarily what that was. Tim indeed did want Meredith! He wanted a relationship, to talk to her daily, to call her, to see her, to grow with her. He wanted it all and had now realized it. So, he told her what she had wanted to hear for years. See, Meredith never hated Tim. She just wanted him to commit to her fully. To stop playing games and leading her on making her wish they could be together. She just wanted him to grow up and see the opportunity he had waiting in front of him. Tim finally realized his true desires and Meredith heard what she wanted to hear for years. They decided to give it a try and truly pursue a relationship. Tim knew before he asked Meredith out that he loved her. He never experienced a relationship like this before. Time went by fast, talking was easy, and smiles came effortlessly. On February 14th, 2021 there were two big events going on that day. Firstly, it was the Daytona 500. Secondly, it was Valentine's Day and Tim had planned on asking Meredith to go out with him. He waited until late at night and finally worked up the courage to ask her the simple question. Tim said, "Meredith Claire Sosebee will you go steady with me?". After that night Tim and Meredith flourished in their relationship and fell deeper in love as each day went on. Through good, bad, and challenging times they solidified their bond and endless love for each other. On May 4th, 2023, Tim decided to take their relationship to the next level. At Garden City beach during the afternoon, Tim had Chris and Cynthia her stepfather and mother enact their engagement plans. Posing the whole event as family pictures, Tim stepped onto the beach with Meredith and prepared to give her the moment she dreamed about her whole life. In an instant, Tim caught Meredith off guard by dropping to one knee, locking eyes and grabbing her hand, and saying these words: "Meredith Claire Sosebee, before God and Man I want to profess and confess my love for you". Meredith was already saying yes in her head but wanted to be respectful and wait until Tim was done talking. She was shaking, crying, and smiling in awe at the moment. Now here we are a few months away from celebrating this beautiful day with the two love birds. We hope you can attend this important day with us!
