Angkor Wat

Angkor Wat is the oldest of the New 7 Wonders of the World and a UN World Heritage site. It lives up to its reputation and it is something you definitely want to see in Cambodia. Travel Information: You can fly locally to Siem Reap from Phnom Penh or take a bus (6 - 8 hours). We recommend you budget at least two days for the trip. All the hotels in the area will have tours or you can hire a Tuk Tuk who will take you to buy the ticket and then pick you up at the end of the day.

So, we love this brewery but you need to call the day you are going to make sure it is actually open. They do tours and have a first Friday event. The website hours are, in our experience, not accurate.

Phnom Penh Riverside Path

Take a walk along the river side in the Cambodia's capital! You will be by the Royal Palace as well as the Old Market. You can book an evening riverboat cruise that will depart from one of the many docks along there as well.

Da Nang

It is located 30 minutes south of Da Nang. It is known for its beaches and tailors. We recommend you bring an empty suitcase as the tailors there can make anything from wedding dresses to suits to casual wear. You can stay in the town or take a day bus from Da Nang.

Phong Natural Heritage Area

For the more adventurous, the caves are amazing to see. You can stay in the park or travel to Dong Hoi and take a bus or tour to the caves. Check TripAdvisor for more information and tour reviews.

Sa Pa

Sa Pa is located in North West Vietnam. This is a cannot miss destination if you enjoy mountains, hiking, and unique culture. Recommend you get a local tour guide who will take you hiking through the mountains and a homestay (if you choose).

Depending on how you are flying to Cambodia, you may be transiting through Narita or Haneda airports so you may want to take some time see Japan.
