We met back in high school and quickly became best friends — never expecting that friendship to turn into something more. After a year of just being close friends, we realized there was something deeper there. That summer — in 2016 — we officially became a couple. Since then, we’ve grown together through every season of life, supporting each other through milestones, challenges, and everything in between. Just before our 8-year anniversary, we got engaged — a full-circle moment that still feels surreal. Now, as we look ahead to our wedding in September 2026 — just a few months after I graduate — we can’t help but smile at how far we’ve come. From classmates to best friends, to partners for life — our story is proof that love grows best when it’s rooted in friendship.
