Our story started back in 2010 when we met online on a site much similar to facebook. It started off as me just meeting a joe schmo online and thinking hes not real to soon after that exhanging numbers and talking on the phone. Time went on we moved our talking on the phone to skyping and video chatting and soon after that we were talking daily. Now times were not always the best we did the online dating for a number of years and each and every time we leave each other, we somehow managed in the end to come right back to each other. No matter how hurt we were or how mad we made each other, we would still some how be drawn right back to each other. And from that time on, I knew he was the one I wanted to marry. Andrew went off to basic in 2012, during the time we would write back and forth to each other and I can remember how giddy I would be to come home for school and check the mail just hoping to have another letter from him. Just to hear from him and how he was doing in basic would bring a smile to my face. Then for holidays he would send me gifts (which I had shipped to my cousins house because I didn’t know how my family would take me dating online). Then in March 2013, I remember it like it was yesterday, he was on the bus going to his weekend drill, we were texting back and forth like it was nothing and out of the blue he said, “I cant wait to be home to talk to my beautiful girlfriend.” Now at the time we weren’t dating so that comment caught me off gaurd and I said, “Girlfriend? I didn’t know you had a girlfriend.” And his response took me by surprise, “will you be my girlfriend?” And from that moment on I’ve been swept off my feet by an amazing young man. As time went on we knew that we couldn’t do the long distance forever and knew that one of us had to make the move. And thats what happened in August of 2013. From then we’ve progressed gained two fur animals and bought house. Then on Dec. 30th, 2018 he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
