We’re getting married!

As Endy drove, I scanned his pockets for the impression of a ring box... Nothing! Although I was hoping that he picked this gorgeous date location so that he could propose to me, his ring-less pockets indicated otherwise. So, I convinced myself to focus on enjoying the scenary and pushed the engagement idea to the back of my mind. When we arrived to the beautiful botanical garden, I was immediately overcome by its beauty. We walked around for a while before I stopped by the restroom. There, I encountered the first sign of the proposal that was soon to come. Inside the restroom was a stunning bride! She was wearing a big, beautiful wedding gown. I stopped to compliment her, handled my business, and returned to the garden with the idea of a proposal still tucked away in the furthest corner of my mind. As I walked past the most beautiful part of the garden (a large cement walkway surrounded by gorgeous greenery and red roses) I thought to myself: “This would be perfect for a wedding ceremony or proposal...” Later, I noticed that Endy started to get a little fidgity. He blamed it on the heat, to which I sarcasticly replied: “Maybe it’s because you’re wearing a church suit to walk around a garden in the sun.” He said: “You’re right, I’m going to go stand in the shade for a while to cool down.” I waited for about 10 minutes before I left to go look for him. Ironically, the direction that he disappeared to was in the proximity of the “perfect proposal” location... As I got closer to the area, I could hear one of my favorite Adele songs playing in the distance. Endy appeared from the greenery carrying a dozen roses! I followed him to the center of the walkway as my body turned into a mass of tiny electric shocks. A photographer appeared and began taking photos of us as Endy nervously recited what he could remember of his proposal speech and dropped to one knee. After I said “Yes” his friend appeared with two glasses of champagne. It was absolutely perfect!
