It all started at Fresh Start retreat the summer before freshman year of high school. Nick was with a rowdy bunch of lifelong friends while Soren had just moved to Ashland. At the time she didn't know Nick would become her best friend. However, Nick knew she would spend the next 12 years trying to charm her way to forever with this quiet, mysterious, (previously straight) blonde girl.
