Question

Where should I stay if I'm not camping?

Answer

We recommend checking out Vrbo or Airbnb for rentals in the nearby towns of Bow and Edison. There are also some larger hotels in Mt. Vernon/Burlington, or on the way to Anacortes. The Swinomish Casino and Lodge is only 28 minutes away, and is recommended by Camp Kirby. We are not arranging a hotel block or transportation.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony starts at 4pm. Please arrive between 3-3:15pm to allow for time to park and walk to the ceremony location on the beach.

Question

This is an unplugged ceremony. What does that mean?

Answer

No phones during the ceremony, or you risk ruining a better shot from the photographer! We are asking guests to be fully present and without technology for the duration of the ceremony, and allow for our photographer to capture the moment without interruption. We will make our digital wedding gallery available to all guests!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress comfortably, don't worry about being over-dressed or under-dressed, wear what makes you happy! If you need direction dressy-casual is probably the move. The ceremony will be on the beach so make sure that your shoes allow for a 1/4 mile walk on a gravel road. Remember to bring a jacket for the evening!

Question

I'm driving, where can I park?

Answer

There is a grass patch between the lodge and the beach on the north west corner of the lower property. We will be using this area to park cars. Please consider carpooling to make this easier!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Summer
