FAQs

Question

Is it Safe to Travel to Los Cabos?

Answer

Yes! While some states in Mexico are not safe today, Los Cabos is not impacted by the current issues in mainland Mexico. Traveling as a tourist to any country, including Mexico, comes with risks, and precautions should always be taken. If the current news about Mexico brings upon anxiety, our suggestion is that you take advantage of the investment you made in a beautiful all-inclusive resort and STAY ON PROPERTY during our event. Being onsite in a secure resort is always your safest option. For up-to-date government issued travel recommendations, please visit: https://travel.state.gov/en/international-travel/travel-advisories/mexico.html The State of Baja California Sur, which includes Los Cabos, is currently at "Level 2-Exercise Increased Caution." This is a common travel advisory level for Mexico year around. For context countries such as Spain, France, Switzerland and the UK carry the same Level 2 advisory. For the Mexico states currently experiencing the issues we see on the news, the state department has issued an advisory Level 3 - Reconsider Travel or Level 4 - Do Not Travel. Please rest assured that we have no interest in putting our loved ones in any unnecessary harm. We will continue to monitor the situation, but we are extremely comfortable and confident that everything is as "safe" as it always is and will remain so for our wedding. In the unlikely the event the situation worsens, and the travel advisory level is downgraded to either Level 3 or Level 4, we will immediately notify our guests.
