Our ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Doors will open to the venue at 2:30pm. We kindly ask that you arrive and be seated 15 minutes prior to the start time so you can relax and enjoy the moment. We appreciate your efforts to help us have an uninterrupted ceremony. To ensure that our ceremony is distraction-free, we ask that anyone arriving after the start time please wait outside until the conclusion of the ceremony to avoid disrupting the service. The venue staff will be available to help you join the reception.
Our afternoon ceremony and reception will be indoors, while cocktail hour will take place outdoors. Heaters will be provided outside for your comfort during cocktail hour.
We ask that our guests come dressed to impress in Formal Attire. We want everyone to feel comfortable and confident. Feel free to choose formal attire that is comfortable for you. Our wedding colors are cabernet and deep reds. We'd love for our guests to come wearing your favorite colors but please avoid white, ivory, or other very light hues. (If wearing a suit, yes you can wear a white shirt!)
Hampton Roads can experience that that time of the year humid temperatures that can range from the 70s during the day and the 30s at night, so we recommend bringing a jacket or wrap. If traveling for the weekend we recommend bringing layers, as we are coastal and the temperature can vary throughout the day. Please check the weather the week of to get a general idea of what to expect.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will be listed under your name when you RSVP. We appreciate your understanding!
We'll be serving hors d'oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner with a choice of entree. Please select the Entree option you would like on your RSVP.
Yes, please make sure to note ALL food borne allergens even if you assume it is not an item that should be in the dish. We do not want to put your safety at risk! It is your responsibility to let us know, as our dishes are plated and our caterer cannot accommodate the day of.
Please make sure to add the note to your RSVP selection. It is important to do this to guarantee you get the dish you request as the Caterer cannot accommodate the day of. If you are unsure, please reach out to us!
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception.
There is free onsite parking at the venue. We do ask if you plan on drinking, please plan to carpool or use a service to safely transport you back to your home or lodging.
We kindly ask that our wedding ceremony is "unplugged" and refrain from taking any photos or videos during our Ceremony. We want our guests to truly be in the moment with us. Do not worry! We will offer a opportunity during the ceremony to allow you to get a picture. If the excitement gets the best of you (we know who you are and we love you dearly), we kindly ask that you refrain from standing in the center aisle or sticking your camera/phone high, to avoid blocking the view for our photographers and other guests attending the wedding. We also ask if you could please refrain from flash photography, to allow our photographers to have full control of the lighting at this moment of the day.
