We're getting married!

We will be forever grateful to the creators of Tinder. Our love story began when we miraculously 'matched' on Tinder on the evening of Friday, 26 September 2014. We had our first date on Friday, 3 October 2014. On our first date we met for drinks after work at Seamstress Bar. Drinks progressed to dinner and we have been inseparable ever since. Fate brought us together and we are so incredibly excited for the chapters of our love story that will continue to be created until the end of time.

On the fifth anniversary of when Sophie and Nathan first met, they both got up early and started getting ready for work. Nathan told Sophie that she was not to go into the lounge room. Nathan's request was not unusual as they usually celebrated anniversaries and exchanged gifts. Nathan called out to Sophie and told her she could go into the lounge room. When Sophie first entered the lounge room she noticed a large sign on the floor which read, 'SOPHIE WILL YOU MARRY ME?'. Nathan was in the corner of the room down on one knee holding a ring. Next to Nathan was a large photo board filled with pictures from the past five years. Rose petals were scattered accross the floor. Sophie took a while to process what was happening and her delayed reaction had Nathan in suspence until Sophie shrieked YES YES YES!

Three wedding dates, seven years, a baby and a pandemic later we will get married! The third of October will remain a special date for us as it is the date we met and the date Nathan proposed.
