Our story began all the way back in 8th grade, specifically the first day of school when Spencer sat down across from Sophie wearing the brightest blinding yellow sweatshirt ever produced. Somehow, despite the fashion choice, Sophie still talked to him… and the rest is history. We officially started dating in 2016 while in high school together. Our early years were filled with simple joys: fast food date nights, board games, late-night drives, supporting each other at every sporting event, and endlessly debating who was actually the better bag toss player (a debate that remains unresolved to this day). After graduation, we continued our adventure at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. Spencer was Sophie’s biggest supporter, literally letting the soccer team film games from his apartment bedroom window, and Sophie cheered Spencer on through classes and life. We loved making memories (and bad choices) on 3rd Street, studying together, and exploring our favorite college town. We now share a cozy apartment (and plenty of love) with our dog, Wren, who firmly believes she is the true star of the relationship. From a questionable first day of school sweatshirt to forever, we can’t wait to celebrate this next chapter with you.
