Where are the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be at Scholls Valley Lodge. The address is 12840 SW River Road, Hillsboro, OR 97123.

What time does the event start?

Answer

The venue is open to guests starting at 3:00 PM. Ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30 PM. There is a 3-5 minute walk from the lower parking lot to the ceremony lawn.

Where can I park?

Answer

There are two parking lots. The first is the main upper gravel parking lot nearest the venue. The second is a grassy field just past the vineyards on the right as you come up the venue’s driveway.

What if I need handicap parking?

Answer

Please reach out to us if you require handicap parking so we can save you a reserved parking spot near the lodge.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal Attire. Ladies, feel free to wear dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates that fall around midi or full length. Please be aware that the ceremony will take place on grass and that our evening reception will be under cover but open to the elements. Gentlemen, suits or dress pants with a button-down shirt and blazer are a great choice. Ties are optional.

Can I bring a plus one? Can I bring my children?

Due to budget and venue constraints, we kindly ask that only those listed on the invitation attend. Please contact us if you have any questions.

Are pets allowed at the wedding?

Answer

As much as we adore furry friends, the venue does not allow pets. We kindly ask you to leave them at home.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar offering wine, beer and seltzers.

What is for dinner? I have dietary restrictions.

Answer

Verde Cocina, a local restaurant providing a fresh farmer’s market take on Mexican food, will provide a taco bar on Saturday night after the wedding and cocktail hour. All dinner food is gluten free. Guests will be able to choose from the buffet for vegetarian and dairy-free dinner options. We love pie! Our dessert will be pies from a local Portland bakery, Lauretta Jean's. Our Welcome Dinner on Friday will be Lebanese food from Nicholas. Much of the food is GF and/or Vegan.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that guests please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. A professional photographer will be capturing all the special moments, and we'll share those with you afterward!

Can I smoke?

Answer

Yes, but only in the designated smoking area next to the upper parking lot.

What if I can't attend?

Answer

While we’ll miss having you, we completely understand! Please just let us know as soon as possible, so we can finalize our numbers with vendors.
