If you’re coming in early or sticking around after the wedding, we highly recommend a visit to Red Rocks Amphitheatre, just outside the charming small town of Morrison. It’s one of Colorado’s most iconic spots - there are often concerts happening, or you can just take in the views and explore the area. While you’re there, check out the Trading Post Trail - a beautiful 1.4-mile loop that winds through the rock formations and is an easier, scenic hike. Morrison itself is super cute and worth wandering around - it has a handful of cozy restaurants, patios, and bars that make it a great spot to grab a drink or bite to eat before or after Red Rocks.
Just a short drive away, Golden is a cute historic town with great views, shops, and places to grab a bite. You can stroll along Clear Creek, explore downtown, or stop by Coors Factory for a tour.
Denver Botanic Gardens is a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon walking around and seeing a variety of gardens and seasonal displays.
Wash Park is one of our favorite spots for a casual walk or just spending some time outside with lots of open space.
About 40 minutes away, Boulder is known for its mountain views and outdoor vibe. Walk along Pearl Street, grab a bite, or explore the nearby Flatirons.
