FAQs

The Wedding Website of Liam McGuire and Sophie Conlon
Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

The ceremony is scheduled to start at 2pm, please ensure that you arrive at the venue no earlier than 1pm and no later than 1:30pm to ensure you are seated in plenty of time.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

To help us with our planning, please RSVP as soon as possible. However, the deadline is 12/07/2025. If we don’t receive your RSVP by this date, we will have to mark you as ‘no’. We need to provide the venue with a total guest count in a timely manner, we hope you can understand.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, please confirm any dietary requirements while completing the RSVP form.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be adults only with the exception of our immediate family who are part of our wedding party. We hope you can use our wedding as an opportunity to let your hair down and party the night away with us.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If effort to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP and will be indicated on your invitation. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

While there is no formal dress code, we encourage guests to dress to impress and make sure they remember their dancing shoes (don’t worry ladies, we have a fully stocked basket of flip flops ready to go). We would love to see the gentlemen embrace Scottish tradition and wear a kilt!

Question

Gifts?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However, if you wish to honour us with a gift, a contribution towards our honeymoon would be greatly appreciated.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Please see the ‘travel’ section for details on accommodation options.
