Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally listed on your invitation. If you have been extended a plus one, your invitation will read ‘[Your Name] and Guest.’ We appreciate your understanding.

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will certainly be missed if you are unable to attend. If you cannot join us, please indicate ‘Will NOT Attend’ on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already responded ‘Attending’ but later find you are unable to come, kindly notify the happy couple as soon as possible.

Are the ceremony & reception in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Kingscoast Estate Winery in Kingsville, Ontario. There will be a cocktail hour in-between the ceremony and reception. Please enjoy drinks and appetizers while exploring the venue during this time.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony is set to take place outdoors. Our cocktail hour and reception will be held indoors. As it will be March, we recommend dressing with the season in mind to ensure your comfort.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We ask that you arrive between 5:00pm and 5:45pm. Please note that the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

I have not recently traveled out of the United States, what do I need to know for traveling to Kingsville?

Answer

The easiest route to Kingsville is via the Ambassador Bridge from Detroit into Windsor. Additional travel and accommodation details will also be available on the Travel tab of our website.

Have you reserved blocks of rooms at one or more hotels?

Answer

We have listed several top hotel options within 15 minutes of our venue. If you prefer other options, there are several AirBnBs in the surrounding areas and other hotels farther out! Additional information will be provided on the Travel tab of our website.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink, and see while I'm in town for your wedding?

What is the suggested dress code?

Answer

We ask that you wear formal attire such as a dark suit & tie. Alternatively, an evening gown or mid-length cocktail dress would be appropriate.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! A full bar will be available, offering unlimited drinks throughout the evening. Please drink responsibly and note that a local taxi company is listed on our 'Travel' tab.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that our ceremony be unplugged—once it begins, please silence and put away all phones. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment, and this also allows our photographer to capture the best memories, which we look forward to sharing with you.
