Although we grew up five minutes away from each other we never officially met until Junior year of high school. We were set up on a blind date by our two friends. On the first date, we hit it off and spent the night watching fireflies and talking. Kyle asked Sophie to be his girlfriend at his lake a few days later.

On the day Kyle proposed, he recreated some of our favorite memories from when we first started dating. We went to our favorite restaurant at the time and drove around some of our favorite spots. Kyle proposed at his lake with our close friends and family there.
