Well it all started with a mutual "friend" and a simple swipe right. Yup, that's right Kevin and I met through Tinder and it's been a whirlwind since. Our first date was suppose to be a nice lunch at Panera, but the universe had other plans for us. I happened to find our first future fur baby, Athena aka Bean, running around the snowy streets on my way to meet Kevin. When I texted Kevin to explain why I couldn't make it, he was sure he'd never hear from me again. A few days and a new dog later, we FINALLY had our first date at Dave and Buster's, where the sparks began to fly. From that day onward, Kevin and I have been inseparable since.
After three years together, one home, and five fur babies together, Kevin thought it was about time he asked the question that I've been aching to hear from him for months... What better reason to plan a trip than for your birthday? That's exactly what I was thinking when I told Kevin I found cheap airfare to Paris. The trip was booked, the countdown began, and soon enough we were on a plane and ready to make memories to last us a lifetime. Fast-forward to the day of my birthday, we wake up in our beautiful hotel in the heart of Paris and head out to meet the photographer we booked for a early morning photoshoot by the Eiffel Tower. At the start of the photoshoot I jokingly asked Kevin if he was going to propose, he quickly shut that question down. Now picture this: Kevin and I are having our pictures taken along the Seine, I was told to have my back towards him for a pose and then asked to turn around. What do I see when I turn around? The man I love down on one knee with a opened ring box in his hand. I start sobbing (good tears, obviously) as Kevin asks me to marry him and I couldn't say yes fast enough. We're both enjoying this time as an engaged couple, but are looking forward to the day we become husband and wife and we hope that you all will join us on our special day.
