FAQs

Question

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Due to budget/space limitations, we hope you understand that children are only invited if named. Please reach out to the bride or groom if you need clarification on whether or not your child is invited. Thanks!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. So if you haven’t been given a plus-one, please don’t bring a date. Thank you for understanding!

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is formal. Halloween costumes are optional — just no ballgowns or tiaras/crowns. We want everyone to wear something they feel good in! Keep in mind that late October in Indiana may be a bit chilly, so please dress accordingly. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors, but the reception will be held indoors.

Question

Can I wear a Halloween Costume?

Answer

Costumes are welcomed, but not required. However, the bride and groom would like to stand out! Please refrain from picking a costume with a ballgown or a tiara/crown.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 4pm. Please be at Mustard Seed Gardens at 3:40pm to allow enough time for parking and finding a seat.

Question

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What happens if I don’t RSVP and I still come?

Answer

We definitely want everyone to come, but please RSVP so we know you’ll be attending the wedding! If you do not RSVP, we may not be able to provide you a seat or food.

Question

Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Unless you’ve been provided with an RSVP postcard, you do not need to mail anything back. You can RSVP right on our wedding website under the RSVP tab! For those of you given RSVP postcards, simply accept or decline and mail it back to us by 9/8. Postage is provided and our mailing address is already on the postcard!

Question

Answer

The ceremony and reception are both taking place at Mustard Seed Gardens. The address is: 77 Metsker Lane Noblesville, IN 46062

Question

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

There is free parking at the venue. Parking is out front and Mustard Seed Gardens staff will help direct you.

Question

Will the ceremony be outside or inside?

Answer

The reception will be held inside the barn at the venue (Mustard Seed Gardens)

Question

Are there handicap accessible restrooms?

Answer

Yes! Mustard Seed Gardens has handicap accessible restrooms for both men and women. There are also non-gendered restrooms in the farmhouse that guests may use if needed.

Question

I have dietary restrictions and/or food allergies. What’s the best way to communicate that with you?

Answer

We definitely want to make sure you enjoy your time and meal on our wedding day. Please let us know when you RSVP about your dietary needs.

Question

What food will you be serving?

Answer

We will have a cocktail hour immediately following the ceremony where hors d'oeuvres will be served prior to dinner. Hors d'oeuvres are brie purses, bacon wrapped chicken skewers, and fruit. Dinner includes warm bread, salad, either chicken lasagna or seared chicken served with a roasted pepper-brie cream sauce, garlic mashed potatoes, stewed green beans, and broccolini. Please reach out if you have any dietary restrictions/allergies so we can let our caterer know.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We love photos! We do ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony, we’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the wedding, we encourage guests to post pictures!

Question

I can’t attend the wedding in person. Will there be a virtual wedding celebration?

Answer

If you cannot attend the wedding in person, but would like to watch from home, we are happy to announce that we plan on live-streaming the ceremony. The bride’s aunt, Jodi, will be conducting a livestream on Instagram. If you would like to watch, click or copy/paste the link at 4PM EDT on 10/31/23. You will need to have an Instagram account and following Jodi to view the livestream. Please contact Jodi or the mother of the bride, Tara, for day-of tech support. Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Hopefully, it will be a beautiful fall day! However, late October in Indiana can be very cold. In the case of rain, snow, or temperatures below 50°F, the ceremony will be moved indoors. Please dress accordingly and definitely bring a jacket!
