SOPHIE'S VERSION Justin and I met in October 2016 working together in Terraces Dining Hall at Ithaca College. I was putting ice into the ice machine, and Justin offered to help. We quickly realized we had a ton in common, like for example I'm from Hopkinton, MA and Justin is from Hopkinton, NH! For our first date, Justin took me to Buffalo Wild Wings because he "had a gift card" - we fell in love quickly after that and made so many great memories together in college with our amazing friends. After college, I told Justin I wanted to move to Boston and he said "well I guess I'm moving to Boston too". We had the cutest and tiniest studio apartment complete with a murphy bed and roof-deck. When the pandemic came around, we spent a ton of time living at each others parents' houses becoming even closer and really part of one big family. In 2021, Justin got me the best gift I could ever imagine for Christmas - our good boi Tony! Tony is our whole world and turned Justin into just as much of a dog person as me. Justin proposed in September 2023 in the most special way possible - with all of our closest friends and family in our favorite place, Cape Cod! My favorite thing to do with Justin is go out to dinner at a new spot and then watch a movie on the couch. I can't wait to do that for the rest of our lives! JUSTIN'S VERSION I saw this baddie Sophie in the dining hall trying to put ice cubes in the ice machine, but she couldn't reach without her heals. I walked over and rizzed her up with my ability to reach high places. After our shift, we shared a sodexo cookie and she said "wow, this is the best cookie I've ever had". Hell ya. Our first date was at b-dubz, because I was strapped for cash but not gift cards (thanks Obama). I munched heavy on the ultimate sampler platter while she happily nibbled on the saddest looking veggie burger I'd ever seen. That's when I knew she was super duper into me.
