We met in 2019 after moving to a tiny town in Arizona to establish ourselves (get our s*** together) in sobriety. Despite being pretty shy, JT asked me out for coffee. The shyness dissipated, and we quickly bonded over movies, TV shows, love of animals, shared humor, adventure, and our aligned values. In July of 2021, we packed up a U-Haul with all our stuff, got a medium-sized dog crate for the cat, and moved to Denver together. We spent the entire 16-hour drive talking and laughing, which sums up our relationship: no matter what, we're always having fun together. We’ve had the privilege of seeing each other grow, both individually and together. We're so grateful to have lives filled with so much love for each other, our families, our friends, and obviously our cat. Six years together have given us countless absurd pictures of each other, a myriad of ridiculous inside jokes, a bunch of new and rediscovered hobbies (honorable mention for skiing and scuba diving), and immeasurable love for each other. On June 4th, 2024, JT proposed while on a trip to Turks and Caicos with Sophie's family, and we’re so thrilled to celebrate our wedding with you!!
