Great Sand Bay

One of the best swimming and rock-picking beaches in Keweenaw County. Located between Eagle Harbor and Eagle River along scenic Hwy 26.

Estivant Pines Nature Sanctuary

Beautiful, easy-rated hiking trails through the Keweenaw's largest track of old-growth Eastern White Pines. Located near Copper Harbor.

Bete Grise South Preserve Beach

This is our favorite beach in Copper Country. There is a short hike down to a 1.5 mile stretch of beautiful Lake Superior Shoreline. From 41 to Mt. Bohemia take the Gay Lac La Belle Rd until it veers right at Lac La Belle and go another 5.5 miles to a small marked parking lot on your left.

Fort Wilkins State Park

For the history buffs, travel back to the mid-1800s and learn about what life was life during the Copper Rush.

Brockway Mountain Lookout

Brockway is a 9 1/2 mile drive that is has breathtaking views of Lake Superior and thousands of acres of the Keweenaw. It is the highest above sea-level drive between the Rockies and the Alleghenies.
