Travel Note
There are lots of options for flights and trains down into Provence. You may want to rent a car for the final leg to the Château.
Flight
In order of travel distance: - Nimes - <1h from Château de Fontarèches. Flights from Stansted (Ryanair). - Montpellier - <1h30m from Château de Fontarèches. Flights from Gatwick (Easyjet). - Marseille - 1h30m-2h from Château de Fontarèches. Flights from Gatwick (Easyjet), Heathrow (BA), Stansted (Ryanair). Options further afield: - Lyon (2h30m-3h) - Nice (3h-3h30m) Often with short-haul European flights, you can mix & match between airlines and airports without much change in price.
Train
Eurostar to Paris (2h30m) is available, you can then take a connecting train to Avignon (TGV - 2h30m). Eurostar is already bookable (and fully refundable), the Avignon train is not available yet (it tends to open up ~ 20 weeks before) - we're hoping it will be available in late March, early April.
