Sophie & Esten

Sophie and Esten met in college at St. Ben’s & St. John’s. The couple's story started when Esten tried to “set up” his friends with Sophie’s friends. Turns out his matchmaking plan was actually to set himself up with Sophie! They went on their first date in the end of March and were officially dating on Esten’s graduation day, May 16th, 2021. Esten visited Sophie often during her senior year of college. After graduating, Sophie and Esten lived at their parent's houses in the Lake Minnetonka area. Esten’s job brought them to Arizona, and they enjoyed living in the sunshine for two years. In November of 2025, Esten asked Sophie to marry him at the Arboretum in Chanhassen, MN. This Spring, Sophie and Esten moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family. Sophie and Esten’s story is still being written, and they are so excited for you to be part of the next chapter!
