Tirana, Corfu, or Vlorë (coming soon)

Tirana is currently the only international airport in Albania. However, a new airport in Vlorë—our recommended base for the wedding—has recently opened and is expected to operate international flights by our wedding date. Alternatively, you can fly into Corfu, Greece, and take a 30-minute boat to Sarandë, Albania, known for its stunning coastline. From Tirana, the drive to Vlorë takes about 2 hours and from Sarandë, the drive to Vlorë takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours.

Recommend to stay in Vlorë

Although the wedding will take place closer to Fier, we highly recommend staying in Vlorë. It's a more vibrant and picturesque city located along Albania’s stunning coastline, offering a wider range of accommodations, scenic views, and a relaxed seaside atmosphere—perfect for making the most of your trip.

Getting Around Albania

Public transportation in Albania can be limited and unreliable. For ease and comfort during your stay, we recommend renting a car or arranging shuttle or taxi services to get around more smoothly. Taxis are available in all cities.
