Corey and I met on June 16, 2018. I was searching for a car and he was the car salesman at the lot I went to. It was love at first sight for me. He was coming back from lunch when I got there. When he got out of his car and starting walking up, I swear he was walking in slow motion. Like something you see out of a movie. I was starstruck, so much so I had to be reminded to test drive the car. My mom was with me, I told her he was something special! I just didn’t believe he’d give me the time of day. Once everything was finalized, I had to make an appointment to go back. Nobody had to twist my arm! I was more than happy to go back. When the day of the appointment came, I had butterflies! I got there, walked in, and there he was. Sitting at his desk. My butterflies intensified. His hazel eyes greeted mine and I instantly smiled, couldn’t hold it back. His coworker had me follow him to my car where he proceeded to tell me that Corey got excited when he saw me pull in. It was at that moment I knew I had to get to know him more. Later that day, I went to my friends and told her all about him. She persuaded me to message him and that was that. We hung out almost everyday. Finally, on March 12, 2019, we officially became a couple! We got a house together, and welcomed our beautiful babygirl into the world. On April 25, 2021 we got the family together to take pictures. Little did I know my life would change forever. We took pictures as a family, then broke up into couples. It was finally our turn. We took some with Paisley (and Memphis who was in my belly), took some alone. Once the photographer said she was done with our pictures I started walking away. Corey grabbed my hand. I turned around and he dropped to one knee. He asked me to marry him!!!! I was in complete shock! Of course I said YES!!!! I cannot wait to marry my best friend!! We begin our forever on 10/16/2022!
