Travel Note
From Dublin to Drogheda: The train is the fastest but most expensive way. You can get trains to Drogheda fairly regularly (about once an hour) from Connolly station in Dublin. If possible, get the Belfast Express - it takes half the time. Find out more about the train here: www.irishrail.ie You can take either a Bus Eireann bus (the 100, the 100X or the 101 go to Drogheda) or a privately-run bus e.g. the Matthews bus (a bit faster, a bit pricier but not much). Bus Eireann: www.buseireann.ie Matthews bus: www.matthews.ie From Dublin to Slane: There are no trains from Dublin to Slane. Collins Coaches runs a bus service from Dublin to Slane: www.collinscoaches.ie Just a general note: public transport in Ireland is notoriously unreliable, so wherever you're going, please give yourself plenty of time!
